We are a group of organizations, institutions and individuals helping to support, strengthen and connect the local food system in Eastern Kentucky. Initially begun as a project of the Community Farm Alliance and the Mountain Association for Community Economic Development, with support from the UK Appalachian Center, the group now involves individuals and participants from a variety of interests - farmers, health professionals, academics, advocates, Extension agents, and more.
